Free assistance in filing your current year and prior years personal income tax return
Not just during the current year filing season but all year round

(All of the above must have modest income and simple tax situations)
What is a suggested modest income level?
Family size | Total family income |
1 person | $40,000 |
2 people | $55,000 |
3 people | $60,000 |
4 people | $65,000 |
5 people | $70,000 |
More than 5 people | $70,000, plus $5,000 for each additional person |
What is a simple tax situation?
Employment income (T4)
Pension income (T4AP, T4AOAS, T4A, etc)
Benefits such as Old Age Security, disability insurance, employment insurance, social assistance, etc.
RRSPs, RRIF (T4RSP, T4RIF)
Scholarships, fellowships, bursaries or grants(T4As, etc)
Interest income under $1,200
Which returns do we NOT provide assistance?
Self-employment & employment expenses
Business/rental income and expenses
Capital gains or losses
Bankruptcies in current year or prior year
Deceased person's returns
Foreign income/foreign property(Form T1135)
Interest income over $1,200
What documents do we require from you?
Government issued photoID (except Health Card)
Copy of previous year's return if applicable for reference
Income slips and receipts for expenses to be claimed
Other documents directly relevant to your tax situation
